Sizes Across the Console Table Collection

All three console tables are available in 60, 72, and 84 inch widths, with custom sizing available on each product for spaces that require a more precise fit.

60 inch is the most compact option and works well in narrower entryways, hallways behind a sofa, and rooms where the console needs to fit within a specific wall span without dominating the space.

72 inch suits larger entryways, wider hallways, and living or dining rooms where the console is expected to fill more of the wall and carry more visual and functional weight.

84 inch is the largest standard option and functions more like a statement piece or an alternative to a sideboard in a dining room or primary living space. At this width, the console takes on a furniture-suite quality that works well alongside coordinating pieces.

Custom widths are available on all three tables for spaces that fall between standard sizes or require a precise fit.

Wood Finishes and Paint Options

Vanderloc console tables are available across three distinct finish categories, natural wood, painted, and wood-toned, giving you meaningful flexibility to match the piece to your existing room palette and the furniture around it.

Natural wood finishes

American White Oak brings a warm, light, grain-forward quality that suits Scandinavian-influenced, mid-century modern, and organic modern interiors where the honesty of the material is central to the design. Black Walnut is darker and richer, with a deep, dramatic grain that pairs naturally with sophisticated room palettes where the wood itself makes a strong visual statement.

Painted finishes

The painted finish range is the most expressive in the collection, spanning bold saturated colors and quiet neutrals. Custom paint color is also available for those who want a finish matched precisely to their space.

Wood-toned finishes

Wood-toned finishes occupy the middle ground between natural hardwood and fully painted options, carrying the warmth and character of wood without the raw grain of an unfinished surface. Natural Weathered and Smoked Modern lean warmer and more organic, suiting rustic, mid-century modern, and transitional interiors. Gray Weathered and Classic Black suit cooler or more dramatic palettes and coordinate naturally with contemporary and modern room directions.

Where to Use a Console Table

Entryway

The most classic placement for a console table is in an entryway or foyer, where it creates an immediate sense of arrival and provides a practical surface for keys, mail, and everyday items. A mirror above the console, such as one from the full length mirror collection, completes the arrangement and helps the space feel considered from the moment you walk in.

Hallway

In a longer hallway, a console table fills an otherwise empty wall with purpose and visual warmth without consuming floor space. The slim profile of a Vanderloc console table makes it suitable for hallways where a sideboard would be too deep.

Behind a sofa

Placed behind a sofa in a living room, a console table creates a secondary surface for lamps, books, and decorative objects that makes the seating area feel more considered and complete. A painted finish in a bolder color works particularly well in this context, where the console is visible from across the room and contributes to the overall atmosphere.

Dining room

In a dining room, a console table used alongside a console table creates a layered furniture arrangement with both open display and enclosed storage. At 84 inches, a console table in a wood-toned or natural wood finish takes on enough presence to anchor the room alongside a coordinating sideboard.

Primary bathroom suite

In a larger primary bathroom or adjacent dressing area, a console table adds furniture-quality presence and open storage for towels, baskets, and beauty items. Pair with a coordinating bathroom vanity and bathroom mirror for a cohesive result.

Complete the Look

Console tables coordinate naturally with storage cabinets, and floating shelves for a unified furniture approach across a room. Pair with a full length mirror or bathroom mirror above and coordinate with bathroom vanities in matching finishes for bathroom suite placements.
